Meet & Greet on Sept 27th at Fire Station

Next week on Wednesday, September 27th I will be hosting a meet & greet at Fire Station #48 Community Room at 7p.m. which is right next to Seal Beach Blvd and the 405 freeway (other side of the freeway from Spaghetinni).

As a Councilman, I believe the most important aspect of our neighborhoods is safety and security. I’m excited to announce the Chief of Police Joe Miller, Commander Phil Gonshak, assistant City Manager Patrick Gallegos and a few others will be at this coffee meet and greet to talk to residents of District 2 about Crime, Homelessness, and Emergency Preparedness.

I look forward to seeing you on the 27th if you can make it!

On another note, there are two open positions in our district currently for which I will need to appoint someone. The first is for the Park & Recreation Committee where unfortunately one of our residents recently moved. The second is a new Committee to evaluate our Fire services and make recommendations. I include more details below.

As always, I encourage you to reach out if you have an issue with the City or if you have questions on why I voted a certain way or on a future issue.

Sincerely,

Thomas Moore
Council Member, District 2 – Leisure World, College Park West and Rossmoor Center
