Each council meeting I look through all the checks and expenses to make sure the city is spending its money wisely.

As a fellow tax payer, I appreciate that each dollar spent is coming from my fellow residents and therefore I treat it like I would my own checkbook and look through things very carefully.

The biggest upcoming expenses in the next few years is going to be the increasing unfunded pension liability, OCFA for fire services and infrastructure repair of drainage systems. Each of these should be looked at carefully and thought through so taxpayers get the level of services they expect.
