Parking has been a problem in this area for many years. There just is not enough parking offered for the number of residents living in the Condominiums and Town Homes on Montecito.

One of my goals if re-elected is to try to figure out a solution for this issue. The City has a Parking Consultant that is assisting with looking at all possible options for this area.

Unfortunately, the owner at the Shops at Rossmoor, has been unwilling to work with the City on any potential solution. So the City is looking at all other options that are possible including working out something with the Farmers & Merchant Bank and an empty lot on Montecito.

I will continue to work with the City, the residents in the area and also continue pushing the owners of the Shops at Rossmoor for a potential solution.
