Infrastructure

I believe it is of utmost importance to make sure the infrastructure of our City is a priority.  There are infrastructure issues in all areas of Seal Beach that need to be addressed, some of which are specific to District 2:

  • A large portion of our sewage and drainage systems and pipes were built in the 1950’s and 1960’s and requires replacement
  • Safe and clean water supply to both Leisure World and all of our city is a priority
  • College Park West is in need of better lighting on the transition road to enter the neighborhood. The Studebaker off ramp is still a safety issue for those entering and leaving, and the sidewalks and gutter drainage need to be repaired for safety and drainage.
  • Safety and traffic issues must be the highest priority at the Shops of Rossmoor for those shopping and those that live in the adjacent neighborhood.
